What to Bring to Camp

Seeds of Peace are returning, providing two hearty meals a day, breakfast and supper. Donations of food are greatly appreciated, and make our meals much merrier and more abundant!

Intention Preparation: When you set the intention to come to witchcamp the spell begins and our web of community grows.  Please consider adding to the energy of this camp through integrating reflections about camp into your spiritual practice.

  • What calls you to Free Activist Witchcamp?
  • What is your intention for the time you leading up to and while you are at camp?
  • How would you like to change while you are at camp?
  • How can you best contribute your gifts to the camp community?
  •  What is the spell that you will weave with us in the woods?

Your reflections before camp are gifts and help us build a strong container to do powerful healing magic for ourselves, each other, our communities, and our earth!
Blessed Be

Latest Updates on what to bring to camp (7/11/2009)

***So far we have no confirmed all-camp water filtration system. Please try to bring a personal water filter/water purifier. If you have access to a system that would provide for more people, please let us know.
***Seeds of Peace is providing breakfast and supper beginning august 1st. If you plan on coming early to set up (recommended)  please bring enough food for yourself and to share if you can for pre- and post-camp.
We are asking for Donations of food in bulk (a lot of one thing) to help supplement our kitchen, and provide lunch for us. Keep in mind we'll be in the wild for a few days anything like greens and soft fruits are great additions, but they won't last us through the week (unless anyone's called to set up a rad cooling system?)
Here are some ideas: root vegetables-- carrots, onions, potatoes, beets, garlic, parsnips etc. snacky stuff-- nuts, bread, dried fruit, trail mix, granola, nut butter, crackers, jerky, fruit, sauerkraut! oil, tea, grains, sweetener, beans etc.
***Please bring personal eating utensils + vessels
***Consider bringing a personal shit bucket, and taking your shit away with you-- there will be a lot of folks in the woods, and that's a lot to leave on the land.
***If you've got any 5 gallon buckets you could offer, that would also help make some nice camp-shared toilets.
***First aid supplies -- if you can bring a kit to share with camp, please contact us + let us know
***Hand sanitizer
***Carts, Wheel Barrows etc. to help carry stuff up to the site
